Privacy Policy

Kingsville Animal Clinic has a Personal Information Policy in place  in accordance with the requirements of the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act.


As is the norm in any veterinary practice in Canada, we do collect and save certain personal information (such as client home telephone number and address).  The personal information we collect may include some or all of the following:


A. Information sufficient to maintain complete and accurate client files to the extent required in law by the College of  Veterinarians of Ontario, under the Veterinarians Act and regulations thereto.
B. Information required to be able to provide goods and services to our veterinary clients, including information needed to schedule appointments, follow up on patient treatment, billing for goods and services, notifying about new services, and promotional offers.
C. Information required to communicate and coordinate with third parties providing veterinary medical or related services to our clients, including other veterinary facilities and insurance companies which may pay for all or part of the cost of such services.

It is our policy that  that:


A.
No personal information will be used or disclosed for purposes other than those for which it was collected, except with written consent from those it pertains to, or except where such disclosure is required by law;
B. All those who provide personal information have the right to view their personal information and have it amended, if inaccurate or incomplete; and
C. A copy of this Policy will be provided on request.
